We found this gem in Southern California where it appears to have sent a majority of its life either under a car cover or in the garage. Owned its whole life by aPilot turned Engineer, his carappearsalways well cared for and we feel is in the top 10% of examples out there. The gentleman that owned the car took meticulous care of it, ttested to by its overall timeless condition andreceipts. The 944 Turbo had seat covers on it almost immediately after leaving the dealership alongwith adash mat. Ordered without a Sunroof and rear wiper.

This 944 Turbo also comes with copies of its service history dating back to 1986 to current.

Just to eliminate the worries for the next owner, e did a full service including water pump and timing belt that was just completed here at Flat 12 Gallery. That means it has a New Water Pump, ew Belts, ew Front Engine Seals, ew Cam Bolt, ew Thermostat and Seal and new A/C Compressor so the A/C blows cold. This car is in amazing condition and ready for many many more miles with its new owner. Please note that the odometer is inoperable and is the only item we could find not functioning correctly.

Finished in rare, p-charged color of, arnet Red Metallic and also has the upgraded ordered partial leather front seats and protective side moldings. No cracks in the dash and basically breathtaking interior.

This is a very nice example that does show some hazing of the original Metallic on the passengers side door and has some touched up rock chips on the nose. Overall the paint and interior is in excellent condition as referenced in the photographs. Rest assured this is a very nice example that has been maintained and is ready for the summer show car season now. Runs and drives very nice and the A/C blows cold. The Porsche 944 is a luxury Sports Carthat was built by Porschefrom 1982 to 1991. It used the 924 platformthat remained in production until 1988. The 944 was available in coupé or cabriolet body styles, ith either naturally aspirated or turbochargedengines.

For the 1985 model year, orsche introduced the 944 Turbo, nown internally as the 951. This had a turbocharged and intercooledversion of the standard car's engine that produced 220PS (162kW) (217bhp (162kW) in the US) at 6000 rpm. In 1987,

Car and Driver tested the 944 Turbo and achieved a 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds. The turbo was the first car using a ceramic port liner to retain exhaust gas temperature and new forged pistons and was also the first vehicle to produce identical power output with or without a catalytic converter. The Turbo also featured several other changes, uch as improved aerodynamics, otably an integrated front bumper. This featured the widest turn signals (indicators) fitted to any production car, strengthened gearboxwith a different final drive ratio, tandard external oil coolers for both the engine and transmission, tandard 16inch wheels (optional forged Fuchs wheels), nd a slightly stiffer suspension (progressive springs) to handle the extra weight. The Turbo's front and rear brakes were borrowed from the Porsche 911, ith Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers and 12-inch discs as ABS also came standard.
