Description

The 1987 - 1989 Porsche 911 is considered by people who really know these cars to be the best years of the 911 series. The engine was the last to be so perfectly machined such that it did notrequire O-rings between the cylinder bases and the case. After the 1989 model year, mission and mileage requirements necessitated raising the operating temperature to such a degree that the cylinder bases warped. I know. I had a 1990 C-4 that had an engine rebuild at 60,000 miles.

The 1987 was the first year to have the G50 gearbox, much improved version from the 1986. Also, he hydraulic clutch made shifting pleasurable. Not to be underestimated, he 87-89 was a very efficient machine. If you can stand to keep it under 70 mph, hey will crowd 30 miles to the gallon.
This particular example was owned by an older individual who had it dealer serviced, arage kept, ut 47,000 trouble and accident free miles on it, hen sold it to a friend of mine who was going through his mid-life crisis. My friend put 1000 miles on it and realized he preferred the comfort of his Mercedes Benz and his first wife. I have driven it 6000 miles. All three of us are adult, on-smokers. The car has never been damaged nor had one drop of paint work. It is Alpine White with Burgundy Leather, nd both are impeccable. All books, eys, ervice records, oolkit, nd jack, ven the original window sticker, ome with this car.
The car is original and stock with the exception of a digital Kenwood stereo with Bose speakers, K&N air filter, nd an upgrade to an R-134 air conditioner (actually blows cold air). I added a negative terminal battery disconnect and a battery tender provision. It now has 53,xxx miles, complete service by Franz Blaum (franzblaumracing.com), nd a new set of Dunlop's best.

There is not one scratch on this car. None, ada, ip. There is one minorrub on the lowest panel behind the right rear wheel, ut a person will look all around this car three times before he or she sees it (see pic). There is absolutely no corrosion. This car is so nice that I would sell it to my old friend Julie Owens without any hesitation.

The Carfax may show more than three owners. Not the case. I have titled it severaltimes, he last to avoid a large sales tax bill. It has always been driven and garaged in Alabama and Georgia. It has never spent any time on the coast.

The ONLY reason I am selling this car is that I moved to South Dakota, nd I refuse to bring such a nice car to the roads here. So I left it in my aircraft hangar in Georgia, nd I plan to deliver it from there. I have owednine other 911’s, nd this is the one I kept. I have enjoyed it for 8 years.

I'm sure you understand why I don't put a phone number inan ebayad; however, f you do want to ask me any questions about the car, mail me with yournumber and the best time to call. I will certainly try to contact you.
I will ship it anywhere in the world for expenses.

Thanks for looking.
