Description

1982 Porsche 928; near perfect and impeccably maintained 2 owner car with the competition package and automatic transmission. Included are all records since new.

This Porsche 928 has led a pampered life with no expense spared in maintaining the car in excellent original condition. Originally purchased by a wealthy real estate developer, he car spent its first 25 years living on the famous Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, alifornia where it was lovingly maintained and protected from the elements. After 25 years, he second owner, nother successful entrepreneur in Long Beach, alifornia continued the love affair until now. All significant maintenance records from new are included, long with the window sticker and original owners manuals and extra keys. The car runs and drives superb.

The car is maintained to its original specifications with beautiful Platinum Metallic paint and an exceedingly rich mocha brown interior with very nice original leather seats and carpet.
The original leather seats are in superb condition; they are soft and supple with the patina of a comfortable leather jacket you have owned for years. There are no cracks, ears or seams splitting in the leather, hich is incredibly rare for these cars. At 95k miles, his 928 looks nearly new.It has never been in an accident and there are a couple of small scratches from parking lot encounters. The paint was repainted once to its original color with a high quality paint job and retains its high gloss with no sun damage.

This car includes a luxurious full leather interior covering the dash, oor panels, rm rests and other interior trim in addition to the seats. The leather remains soft and supple, ith no signs of sun damage. Also included is the competition group package, hich uses the upgraded suspension and spoilers of the European S-model, aking this car much more sporting to drive.

The 1982 cars have the 16v, win cam, .5L 220 horsepower non-interference motor, hich as many of you know is simpler to maintain than the later cars, nd does not self-destruct if the timing belt were to skip a tooth or fail. The early cars are lighter and more nimble to drive than the later S4 cars.
Air conditioning and heating perform properly. The AC system was recently serviced and blows cold. All of the gauges and lights function properly. The power windows, ipers, unroof and cruise control all function as new.
Both driver and passenger seat are power adjustable and operate as new.
In terms of significant maintenance, he major common 928 items have been recently completed. The timing belt and water pump was replaced at 93k, nd at several other times during its life. The entire cooling system is new, ith a new aluminum high performance radiator, emperature sensor and thermostat also at 93k. The 225/50/16 v-rated tires are brand new this year. Over $5,000 in maintenance has been performed in the past 5,000 miles. The fluids, lugs and wires were recently changed. Many other items were taken care of over the years as needed - the stack of receipts totals in excess of $20,000. The car needs nothing and can be used as a daily driver or for special occasions.
The original tool kit, ehicle jack and unused air compressor are also included. The dash is perfect and the pod has a single crack in the vinyl.
Very few original and well maintained Porsche 928 vehicles remain and they seldom come up for sale. This is a wonderful vehicle and will reward you with many years of enjoyment.
