Built in November of 1988, VIN *WP0AB0914KS120708* was picked up brand new by its original owner directly at the factory in Stuttgart, Germany, enjoyed on a brief European holiday and subsequently shipped to California, where it has remained ever since. It comes with clean history and NMVTIS reports.
The car is well-optioned, as the original paper tag attached to the inside of the trunk lid confirms:

The trunk is still dressed properly in its factory felt clothing. A custom item is the amplifier board, which can be removed without a trace, if so desired.
Underneath, we find all factory finishes undisturbed and beautifully preserved. The date-coded, inflatable spare has never been mounted, battery is near new, and the vulnerable suspension pan is perfectly healthy, with no sign of any corrosion or damage.

Carrera's body presents itself in phenomenal condition. There are no paint imperfections worth mentioning, no chips, scratches, or dings of any sort. Original FUCHS wheels still wear their factory anodizing and are free of road rash.
The most coveted option on any Nine-Eleven must be the electric sunroof.
The iconic 911 cockpit features five large, circular, white-on-black dials with bright orange pointers, a timeless design. The vulnerable dash top, often showing heat cracks, is perfectly preserved and free of hairline cracks.
The inviting, 6-way power front seats are covered in spiffy black leather. Everything here is beautifully preserved.
Unique to the final-year Carrera, the rear seats feature 3-point belts. "Unused" is the only way to describe them properly.
All of the lights work.
Engine compartment looks bone stock and clean as a whistle. Even the factory decals are still in place.
The indestructible 3.2-Liter engine featuring BOSCH MOTRONIC runs stellar, delivering 217 strong Teutonic horses at 5,900rpm.
Less than 150 miles ago, the car's last owner treated his Porsche to a complete, thorough engine and transmission rebuild by a well-regarded Orange County specialist, to the tune of $20,707.00. The 3-page receipt is included and details the scope of the work. Needless to say, no stone was left unturned and the drivetrain of this '89 can only be described as "like new."

Wednesday, August 4th turned out to be another perfect day in Ventura. We opened the sunroof and headed for the open road.
Driving such a well-taken-care-of Carrera is a pure delight. It starts, runs, drives, shifts, corners, and stops perfectly.
Naturally, a super clean red Porsche like this one is a prime attention getter, garnering excited comments wherever you take it.
The GETRAG G-50 5-speed transmission with its BORG WARNER synchromesh system certainly can handle the Carrera motor's torque; the hydraulic clutch ensures ease of operation. Be it as a daily driver or a cherished collectible, this 911 provides unequalled driving enjoyment, free of depreciation.
