Description

Up for auction is a 1986 Porsche 930 cabriolet slant nose steel conversion that I acquired back in January from a gentleman who owned it for many years here in California. Since purchasing the car, I have only driven it a couple timesaround the block and the rest of the time it has been parked under a car cover. Unfortunately, I have come to therealization that this car is not practical for me and/or my family. So rather than having it parked all day, I have decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy it, etc. The car is in great solid shape with no rust issues, but not perfect (for example the paint does have several small chips and scratches). Does need some TLC. Mechanically the car starts right up with no smoking and seems todrive and shift fine,however, keep in mind that I am not a Porsche mechanic. Also, the carappears to have never been in an accident (see pictures) as far as I can tell. In fact, I had a friend of mine run acarfax on the car and nothing came back. The VIN on the car isWP0ZZZ93ZGS050845 feel free to decode it. The car was also theftrecovered many years ago which resulted in a salvage title and the slant nose conversion. Due to my lack of knowledge on the history of the car and only owning it for a few months, it is being sold in "as is" condition.
