This listing is for a 1962 B Porsche Roadsterwhich I have owned for over 10 years. The previous owner had his own shop and performed the body work and paint but never completely finished the car. I finished the car with some help from local PCA members as well as some special talent on the west coast. The Roadster drives and stops as it should, and simply is a blast to drive!!! Below is a list of some things which I have done or had done since I have owned it:
*(4) New wheel covers*Vic Skirmants (356 Enterprises)transmission (100 miles with paper work)*Vic Skirmants (356 Enterprises) engine (300 miles no paper work) with Cheads and big bore kit(this was done prior to me purchasing the car)*Vic Skirmants (356 Enterprises) rebuilt carburetors*GT trim all around (GT Werks -California)original trim included*Aluminum GT seats*Rear muffler skirt (steel)*Front center fill gas tank with finned gas cap (thru hood)*Dual sport exhaust (jet hot coated)*Rebuilt gauges (North Hollywood Speedometer)*Aluminum tonneau cover-hand made to the car out in California $$$$*(5) new tires (Kumho-165/80R15) less than 100 miles*New brakes*Gas tank cleaned, sealed, and painted*(2) interiors-1 black (pictured) 1 red (seats and door panels)*New Autos International interior with black GT door panels*Aluminum oil cooler (old one included)*Aluminum sump plate*Odyssey dry cell battery-6 volt*(2) steering wheels with horn buttons*(2) shift knobs*Aluminum skinned engine cover with GT screen and louvers*New YNZ wiring harness*New Auto'sInternational soft top*Aluminum GTracing mirror mounted to the driver's side fender (original mirror included)*Fresh oil change*Rear exhaust ports were professionally closed off*Per Tonix electronic ignition
***The COA for this Porsche shows the original color(s) as being ivory with a red interior. Currently this Porsche is painted in a1984 Mercedes Benz Ivory with a black interior. The driver's door as a minor ding which appears to have been caused by possibly a bicycle handle-this is the way I purchased the car. There is no tool kit with this car-only the jack. The engine does not match the COA. There are absolutely no problems with this car. Please note that this car is titled as a 1962 but was manufactured in 1961. This was a common practice for Porsche and Max Hoffman in those days.
