The 4-wheel independent suspension keeps all of the wheels firmly planted and makes this car handle like a go kart. The 914 was a joint-venture between Porsche and Volkswagen, which, at the time, was not as popular as they had hoped, but it has since had a cult following of purists looking for a wonderfully balanced sports car with low maintenance costs.
Covered in a layer of Guards Red paint, and fitted with a beautiful tan interior, including the basket-weave seats. With the removable targa top, you can choose to let the sun in whenever the weather is fit, as it fits perfectly in the rear trunk. The front trunk, or “frunk,†is surprisingly spacious. Between both cargo areas, packing this little Porsche to the brim and heading out on the open road for a week at a time would not be too hard to do. The original interior shows very well and doesn’t look to be faded at all from the sun. The steering wheel and dashboard are crack-free, and the controls are all easy to reach.
