This auction is for a 1977 Porsche 911S Targa in excellent condition with low 66. 57 miles showing and a clean title. There is no paper trail to document the miles. We are relying on the odometer. what was told to the current owner by the seller who is a collector of fine Porsche’s and the excellent condition of the car mechanically and cosmetically (low wear. nbsp;runs great etc. ). The miles are believed to be correct. This car runs and drives fantastic. It appears that everything works except the clock and the defroster blower. the heat and the defrost do still function on the car. Please contact me and I can send you a link to around 100 pictures. The original color was Talbot yellow code 106-9-2. This car was completely and professionally color changed to the remarkable Porsche Continental orange. pictures don’t do it justice. This was a high end. glass out and engine out repaint. The front trunk. door jams. engine compartment etc are all changed to orange. Other than a few small paint chips the paint is fantastic. The body is super straight except for one shallow dent on the driver’s side cowl on top near the wiper (see pics). The targa top was completely. professionally restored by targa top expert Dan Patchel. This car is vin number 9117212427 and it has engine number 6274833 which is a 1977 911 engine and believed to be numbers matching. This engine has had all of the recommended upgrades including: Carrera tensioners. pop off valve in the air box. 11 blade fan. and stainless steel 1974 and earlier style heat exchangers. The smog equipment (air injection and thermal reactors) have been deleted. The engine runs fantastic. There is a very small oil leak. about 1-2 drops a day which appears to be coming from the seal near the transmission. This car was purchased about two years ago. since that time the master cylinder and brake lines have been replaced. The original cork colored interior is in great condition except for one very small crack in the dash near the heater vent on the passenger side (see pics). All of the bright trim (chrome and anodized aluminum) is in great shape. The 4 fuchs alloy wheels are very good with no curb rash or damage and the tires are in great shape. 1977 Porsche 911 have completely galvanized and rust proof/resistant bodies. This car appears to be totally rust free. There was some rust damage under the battery from battery acid. The bad metal was cut out. the area was treated and a patch was riveted in place. nbsp;most of this repair is under the battery and does not show (see pics). This Porsche is in Lake Oswego. near Portland OR and I’m selling it for a friend. After the auction. payment will be made directly to the current owner (my friend not me).
