Description
Hi!Offered for sale is this beautiful and fun 914. It is the preferred model year and engine choice. I bought it three years ago and had it shipped from New Jersey to Washington State due to the amount of work the previous owner invested. The car was taken down to the unibody and redone and painted including both trunks. Great paint and great color! This is not the original color per the COA I purchased. All new nearly everything. This is the stronger 2. 0L motor with dual Weber 40 DCOE's. Trans works perfectly. all new bushings. runs as designed. All tires have very few miles on them. wheels excellent! One thing this 914 does NOT have is a heater. To me it is my summer fun car so it was an unnecessary item when purchased. The 914 has a Pioneer CD-radio deck and is all hooked up for XM radio including the receiving device on the dash. 5-speed works perfect. no issues. The clock on the center console works as well. restored by previous owner. I added a brand new Bursch exhaust last Fall. There is vinyl coming loose on the drivers seat back/top. the interior flaw. I was going to redo the entire interior this summer although it looks great as is. Your enclosed transport can come right to my front door. wide streets. and many have been here!!The constant complaint with the 914 is its failure to start both cold and hot with emphasis on the "hot". This has been cured by myself and European Autohaus here in town. I bought a new premium battery. a new ignition switch. had Obi at the shop completely tune the engine. and I installed an expensive gear reduction starter similar to my race car. It now starts either first or second turn of the switch. This is the way the 914 is supposed to run!Extensive paperwork and pictures of the restoration. most of the previous owners. three? registration papers. and all the invoices for repairs. Previous owner even put the papers in an orange colored Nike box. If you are truly interested I have a lot of info to send you. The car is always stored in my garage under cover. I will go take some pictures today so they are recent. The targa is always in the rear trunk this time of year. Price is non-negotiable. These are increasing in value quickly. My price is fair due to the work done on it. We also have a website and Facebook page under my business name. Thanks for looking. have a good one!RickRace Car Locators. LLC. Spokane. WA. USA
