Description
No Reserve Auction VIN: 9140432653 Color Code: 80 Silver Metallic Engine Number: 6134658 Rebuild by Budd Hart Transmission Number: 7510323 Limited Slip Transmission Welcome. You are bidding on a 1970 Porsche 914-6 that was found in a California storage shed. This car has been sitting since the 1980’s and is a 2 owner car. This car is complete with many of its original parts as well as many spares. Please take a look at the pictures and read the description. Should you have any questions please feel free to email me. I have come to realize that I will never have the time to fully restore this car. For additional pictures please click on the link. http://s263. photobucket. com/user/MrBMW2002/library/1971euroe?sort=3&page=1 History: This car was originally purchased new in South Carolina. It was purchased by the second owner in the 1975 and has remained in their possession since. I have all of the service documents. original owner’s packet. etc that all go with this car. I have a clean California title ready to handoff to the next owner. Exterior: This car has never been in an accident and still retains some of its original paint on the inner jams and trunks. The exterior has been repainted once. This car is a very rust free chassis. It does have a small rust spot by the battery box as you can see in the pictures. All of the doors and hood close properly and smoothly. Interior: This car has its original interior that is in very presentable shape. It has its original gauges. headliner. dash. steering wheel and seats. Engine/Transmission: This engine has been rebuilt by Bud Hart and was built to 2. 7 RS specs. This engine still turns over freely and was a very fast motor. The transmission was also built by Bud Hart and it has a LSD unit installed. This car comes with its original Weber carbs and original air cleaner. Overall: This is an excellent chance to get into an early 914/6 project. It would make a great restoration candidate. Please let me know if you have any questions.
