This car is a turn-key recreation of Porsche’s iconic 550 Spyder built by one of the best in the business. It offers a unique color combination of interior vinyl and rear fender spears not commonly seen on other 550 Spyder recreations. The 2165cc engine from CB performance runs dual Weber IDF downdraft carbs and runs excellent. The four wheel disc brakes are excellent at hauling this 1400 pound car down to a controlled stop. Handling is very neutral with a low center of gravity and nearly ideal 50/50 weight balance.

A great deal of effort was made to make sure that the details on this particular car were as correct as possible from the body fittings and badges to the gauges handbrake seats and pedal assembly. This car drives as good as it looks. It is ready to get in and go and has covered right at 4800 miles since its construction; ensuring that it is well-sorted and ready to go but not tired and in need of attention. This car is ready to go and will provide a rewarding driving experience rivaled only by the real thing!

Here is footage of it running on the Pacific Coast Highway on our way to Porsche’s Rennsport Reunion in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqplxWkkKdw

And another showing how docile it is in late afternoon Santa Monica traffic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQwWAg_7kpA

Overall its been a real pleasure to own and drive this car. It'sextremely reliable easy andvery low cost to maintain and use on a regular basis.

I am selling this car from my personal collection which I purchased in 2010. I am not a dealer and have the car for sale locally.

Inspections are encouraged and welcomed by appointment at my shop in Louisville KY 40223.

I dohave a loading dock for overseas containers and several country wide autoshippers I can recommend.
