Description

1972 911 S Targa is atwoowner car from Texas. This Targashows to be49600 original miles.Parts on the car indicate the mileage is correct.Originalengine oil lines and rubber oil hose’s includingthe engine air paper hoses are original to the injection system. All evidence shows this car to be in itsoriginal configuration.Chrome molding an alloy trim molding all are in very nice shape and do not need to be replaced or rechromed. We noticed the door seals are the original factory type that haven’t been available for many years. TheTargatopmaterial is original we removed the headliner to drive the car. The dashboard has no cracks in his original style with the removable speaker grill. The steering wheel is still the leather wrapped version. The original color was sepia Brown is now painted grey over the original paint (YouTube Video) . We did find traces of the original brown paint in the engine compartmentand the inside of the trunk area. This all makes for easy restoration back to the original color. The 911 S spoiler front oil cooler andalloy front brake calipers are all factory original to the car. There is a toolkit in the trunk along with one spare alloy wheel. Two of the alloy wheels have small scraping on the outer edge. The other three are in excellent shape. The5speed Transmission shifts perfectly. The engine retains all of its original mechanical injection parts and runs very nice. The only thing that we see that is not stock is the rear sway bar and the brake lines have been changed to stainless steel also the cassette player in the dash is not original equipment. This is a very nice original car with a very weak paint job over original body exterior. We have no documentation other than what we can visually see about this car. And what we were told from the second owner who has knowledge of this car for several years. You can see more pictures and YouTube video's in the classified section of Redline service's web site Tucson Arizona. 520 977-05394
