This auction is for a factory built Porsche 550 Spyder. Built by Thunder Ranch in California it is fitted with a ThunderRanch ID plate and California Vehicle Information Label.The car was Upgraded recently toinclude the bigger 1904cc performance engine built to race specificationsresulting in a scary fast drive (see engine build sheet in the photos). It is also fitted with brake bias and fuel ratio adjustment both between the seats in the cockpit.
The vehicle currently has 14800miles on the speedo but only six hundred since the full engine rebuild.I purchased the car from Victory Porsche in Houston in July 2013 and since owning the carI have had a number of upgrades fitted including leather engine straps race drivers nacelle Headlight Guards and original style banjo steering wheel in Ivory. I also had Bumbera'sautomotivein Katy strip outthe Factory Jammr Shifter and rod link systemthat never worked properly and replace it with a cable shift system that's operates smoothly and shifts into gear every time (3K of updates).
This carattracts crowds whereverI goand is mid blowing to drive. Since owning it I have exhibited it in the internationally recognized Houston Keels & Wheels classic car show at the Victory Motorcars Stand and at local car shows where it always gets maximum attention from fans and photographers alike. I am selling it because in Texas I can only enjoy it for a small fraction of the year due to extreme heat in the summer and recently wetter winters so I am looking for it to go to a home where it will be appreciated for what it is: a mind blowing all out screamer!The timid should not consider this one!
