1972 Porsche 914-6 We are pleased to offer this completely restored 1972 Porsche 914 with a 6 cylinder 3.3Subaru SVX engine and a 901 transmission.
This Porsche started life as a 4 cylinder and has had a professional restoration/conversion performed. This was a very solid car to start with it was then stripped any issues found were addressed. It then underwent a professional restoration.
The guy that performed the restoration has done many 914 conversions including 8 cylinder conversions (914s gone wild). The body was undersealed and the exterior wasrepainted in Viper Green. The paint has a few blemishes but shows well.
The cooling system works great the car runs at about 185. The engine was tested leak down and is in excellent condition. The trans is a 901 with a stage 3 kennedy clutch and all adapters. The suspension is 911 so are the brakes.
The A/C works great and cools the car down with ease. The interior is in excellent condition the seats are soft 2 tone leather the dash is fine with no cracks also the carpets are new. This 914 has 2500 miles since the complete restoration.
This car is a blast to drive its fast fun and gets the thumbs up wherever you go. You could use this 914 in any conditions in trafiic the car idles and responds great on the freeway it cruises with ease also in hot summers just put the A/C on and enjoy the ride.
