Description

1966 PORSCHE 912 SWB that was being converted to a 911. Original Red on Black car. Sat for along time inside as it was being converted to a V8 but never finished-I returned the car back to air cooled power. Steel SC flares added along with IROC fiberglass frt/rr bumpers. New Fiberglass Duck tail. Chassis has new brakes and master cylinder 15x7/8 FUCHS and it is a 5 gauge dash. Interior is all original and has a Wood rim steering wheel with Momo adapter (includes original Porsche wheel too). Original 901 gear box still attached. I have a complete 1970 911T 2.2 engine that will need barrels/pistons as it was left in the rain and two pistons stuck to the barrels. Short-block or cases are fine and still complete with rods/crank/oil pump/t-chain all together and rotates fine. Engine appears to have been rebuilt at one time but have no proof just years of experience knowing what to look for. Very little rust/mostly surface on pan and I can see no "cancer holes". Front body panel was converted to the later "short nose" with short hood and 74 and up fenders along time ago. Serious buyers only this is a project car thus you know going into the deal that you cannot jump in and drive it home. Car needs to be returned to the street and enjoyed but I just do not have the time with 10 other cars projects on my plate. Long time CA car so it is a fantastic start as tons of money will be saved by not having to replace rotted out panels. I am holding a CLEAN and CLEAR CA title with NO BACK FEES OR LEINS.
