For the 1974 model year,porsche continued the 1973 carrera rs essentially unchanged,but built into the 1974 'impact-bumper'bodyshell and simply badged carrera.


The new model 1974 carrera retained the 1973 RS 2.7 litre 210bhp mechanically fuel injected engine and gearbox.
The only significant mechanical difference was the layout of the front anti-roll bar,Otherwise the changes were simply the obvious exterior cosmetic ones,plus a more practical,relatively luxurious,interior trim level.
