The license plate on this gorgeous Porsche announces ‘Amazn 77’ and it isn’t lying because 1977 was an amazing year in automobile design with the production of the high performance Porsche 930 Turbo. Since its introduction in 1963 (by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, ermany) it underwent continuous development, hough the basic concept remained little changed. It has a distinctive design with rear-mounted six cylinder air-cooled engine, speed gear box and independent rear suspension, hich was an evolution of the swing axle previously used on the Porsche 356
This vehicle was one of 717 total units manufactured for US production. Since its market launch in 1975 the 911 Turbo (initially named internally as “930”) was the top-of-the-range model in the 911 model line. The 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo was designed to be an ultra-high performance production-model street race vehicle. A Turbo 3.0 liter engine rated at 260 hp helped achieve such design goals for these early Porsche’s are known for their exhilarating acceleration! The manufacture's data designates this vehicle’s acceleration from 0-60 mph as 5.2 seconds. At the time of its production this vehicle was the fasted production automobile manufactured in Germany.
This stunning India Red Porsche 930 Turbo is a two-door, +2 high performance sports car. The 930 featured flared rear wings, hich gave it an extra 12 cm in width over the older 911 models. Black stone guard film was applied to the front of the rear wheel arches and the rear lid featured a distinctive rear wing with a wide black hard-rubber border.
When behind the wheel of the mighty Turbo Carrera, driver’s will experience relatively subtle power and immense turbo lag until about 4,000 rpms. Once acceleration reached optimum boost at approximately 11.5 psi, he 930 tests the true abilities of even the most experienced drivers.

This 930 Turbo runs and sounds great and has a clean accident record! This is a rust free, ery original vehicle. A history of the car can be found below. It has working powered windows and an original working Blaupunkt radio. The original paint is in very good condition, here are small chips along the front skirting of the car due to basic driving wear. The decaling is slightly cracked do to aging but can only be seen upon close examination. The sunroof mechanism is fully functional. The heater works but the A/C unit requires repair.
