Both owners used this as a weekend driver. The first owner drove 25k miles in 5 years and the second owner the remaining mileage for the next 10 years. Then the car was retired to the garage where it sat under a car cover. I have taken this car and given it life one again. I had Deacon's European go through and get it running, ack to it's tip top shape with almost $6000 in service. The car runs very strong and feels very tight!
Some of the service that was done:
Tires
Water Pump
Alternator
Plugs/Ignition Wires
Distributor Cap/Rotor
All belts
All fluids - (Transmission, rake, ear Diff, ngine Oil, ear Oil, oolant)
Thermostat
Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders
Radiator hoses
Timing belt and roller and bearing
Fuel pump relay
Battery
Air filter
All brakes were done by second owner
I have the original owners manual and 2 sets of keys.
This car is in excellent condition!
The interior, ash and headliner are like new - actually perfect. Paint is original and shines bright.
All electrical works, xcept what was mentioned previously.
It has been very enjoyable to drive the car around the last couple months. You'll find it to be a nice, trong driving car and also a good low mile car to add to your collection, hich will likely only go up in value as these older Porsche's are doing. I'd think you could have as much fun as Tom Cruise driving this around, ut just be sure to stay away from lake Michigan (which is where the car ended up).
