Description

***The Porsche 912 is a sports car that was manufactured by Porsche of Germany between 1965 and 1969 as their entry-level model. The 912 is a nimble-handling compact performance four-seat vehicle, elivering 90 SAE horsepower at 5800 rpm.[2] It is capable of up to 30 miles per US gallon (7.8 L/100 km; 36 mpg-imp) fuel economy. This combination is possible because of a high-efficiency petrol engine, ow weight, nd low drag. A variant of the Type 911, ne of the most famous and successful sports cars of all time, he Type 912 initially outsold the 911, oosting the manufacturer's total production until success of the 911 was assured.

What we have here is a multiple owners not rust free California car in need of some attention.
This could be a nice winter project for someone with the right skill set and motivation.
Or probably better as a part car...
It was parked outside for about 20 years near the Pacific ocean.
It has rust pretty much everywhere you can imagine. There is no engine or transmission. The wheels are all mismatched. The tires are shot. The interior is highly deteriorated. The instrument clusters are gone. There is no more floor pans and almost no more rockers or tunnel. The car barely holds together. The axles are missing. There is no title.A/C needs recharge.
Yet despite of all that, erhaps someone will find some beauty in it. It could be used as an art piece. Or as a way to teach your children what happens when you don't take care of your classic car and abandon it outside. Or maybe as a joke to yourneighbor!
And perhaps there are still some parts useful to you. The front hood needs work but it's there. The rear lid is in decent shape. The side windows are there. The chrome on the side trim is decent. The wiring is all there. Some switches are there. The door handles are there. Some parts in the door panels may be salvageable. The VIN number is matching. Sold with a clear bill of sale.
The possibilities are endless!
If you are local, may even be able to deliver it to you for an extra 6-packs of Coors Light.
P.S.: Again, ust to be clear - this car has so much rust that it nearly evaporates when you touch it. It is sold for parts only, s is, here is. There is no guaranteewhatsoeverbeside the fact that it will attract a lot of attention and you will end up with some really funny stories to share.
