This car is very nice! It spent it's whole life in CA & NV, nd is a rust free example. It runs good and drives nice. It is painted in the original color of white, ith the addition of a pearl and clear coat. There is a noticeable line in the driver sail panel where the the pearl and clear were touched up. It has a few scratches and dings, ut nothing major. Isnapped some pictures showing the pearl line in the drivers sail panel. It shows up a lot more in the flash than in daylight. I also showed where the gap between fender and body were filled, hich of course led to a paint crack as the joint flexed. I have included a snap of the inside rear trunk and the RR suspension pickup showing no rust.It has the original 1.7L 4 cyl and tailshift trans. The factory fuel injection has been replaced with a megasquirt controller. It still needs a bit of tuning to be perfect, ut it does run and drive just fine. I've been tuning it at 4500' of elevation, o a move to lower altitude will need a re-tune. The motor just received a fresh valve job. The interior was just redone by a local shop and looks beautiful. It has aftermarket cloth seats. This was done mainly for comfort, used to drive this car on long trips! The cloth keeps you from burning your bottom when the top is off on those hot days! The seats also have headrest speakers in them, o you can hear the stereo without blasting it while driving on the freeway with the top off! This car was set up to be a driver, ot a show queen. It has a brand new windshield, nstalled with a black rubber surround. It does not leak! All the gauges work properly, ven the low fuel light! The car has the dealer installed A/C, ut it does not work. I know there is a hole in the condensing unit, s a previous owner apparently thought it was a good place to jack the car up from. I never bothered to fix it. I just took the top off when it was hot. I do not know the condition of the compressor either, s I have never tried to use it. It is mounted on the motor, ll the lines and plumbing are still in place, ut there is no belt on it. It has Goodyear radial tires that are almost new. I will include the extra paint and pearl I have with the car. I also will include all extra parts i have including new rear wheel bearings, anes Manual, actory fuel injection parts including ECU and air cleaner.
There are a few things the car still needs. It needs quite a bit of the weatherstripping replaced. What is on the car is all original. I never got that far. Itwill probably need somemore motor tuning because of the change in climate/altitude when it arrives at it's new home. The megasquirt can be tuned with any laptop or tablet. If a wideband oxygen sensor is installed in it and the deluxe version of tuner studio is purchased it should be able to tune itself as you drive. There is a narrow-band O2 sensor installed in the pipe at the moment. It works for basic correction in the ecu, ut not real tuning. The Tuner Studio software is a free download on the tuner studio website. I will include my serial extension cable and serial to USB adapter I have been using on the car. There is no rust on this car! Suspension console is in excellent shape! Overall, his is a very nice, rivers car. I built it to be driven, nd I daily drove it for about 3 years, lasting around the roads in Tahoe. The car now resides in Reno, V. It has a clean and clear CA title in my name, ut it is currently registered in Nevada.
I will require a $1000 paypal deposit within 48 hours of auction close unless prior arrangements are made. The balance will be accepted in CASH ONLY when the car is picked up. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car in Reno, V or arranging for transportation. I will be willing to take the car someplace locally for transport, ut I will not release the car or title until payment has been made in full. Clear title is in hand and will be delivered with the car.
