1959 Porsche Convertible D just out of a fresh restoration, onverted to Speedster Specification. The car started life out of the Drauz factory in 1959 as a Convertible D. Sometime in the 80’s, he car was repurposed as an SCCA racer. There are pictures of the car running at Limerock included with the car. When retired from racing, he car was configured for street use as a Speedster. The Speedster windshield frame, onvertible top frame, oor panels, eats and badging were all added. The racing engine with extractor exhaust and the Carrera GS brakes were retained in the car.
In Oct of 13, he car began a total restoration. I decided that the car would be killer in black with red leather interior and I decided to leave it as a Speedster.
