Description

This beautiful '73 Porsche RSTribute was made out of an '85 911 SC. The owner found a completely rust free car and stripped it to the bare bones. Please see the build photos attached.

His goal was to duplicate the weight and performance of the original RS. All undercoating was removed along with all the insulation. All the window hardware was removed along with the A/C compressor. Any component that could be lightened without sacrificing strength was drilled.

Of course, t was made into a long hood, uplicating the original RS. Every item was carefully fitted as shown in the photographs. The original mirror mounts were welded up in order to install the proper RS mirrors. The gaps were carefully measured, iving the car a factory made look. The build took over two years.

This is a perfect car for Porsche Club driving events or Cars and Coffee! At around 2300 pounds, he handles like the original light weights.

We just completed a detailed inspection. It included a compression check, nd leak down. It passed with flying colors. All valve cover gaskets were replaced. We bled the brakes, eplaced the spark plugs, nd did an oil change with ValvolineRacing 20-50 and a new filter. Every bushing and bearing was carefully checked.

The car really "Pops" as everyone loves the color and its stance.

- Backdated heat. Heat controls deleted from dash, ull levers between seats and heat comes on everywhere instead of selected areas

- Window regulators removed, trap pulls up the windows

- RS style door panels

- Fiberglass hood, ecklid and bumpers

- Everything else is steel

- PMB Performance built calipers
