Beyond the cosmetic overhaul, PR also resealed the original 2.7 and installed all new suspension and brake components. All of the typical 2.7 trouble spots have been addressed -- thermal reactors are gone, ead studs upgraded, 1-blade fan instead of the factory 5-blade, lus Carrera chain tensioners. Clutch and gearbox feel excellent with tight shift linkage and good synchros; engine is strong and dry. A/C has been converted to R-134 with a modern Sanden compressor and is blowing cold.
The driving experience is smooth, risp and fresh -- everything you would expect out of a mid-year 911 at this price point. We're confident in claiming this is one of the finest mid-year 911s available.
