Our 1978 Rolls-Royce Corniche II is a timeless symbol of elegance and a desirable jewel showcasing your personal success. Shown off in Nutmeg Brown, our convertible is classically elegant and never out of fashion and in this a Rust Free gem. Back in its day, the Corniche was personally crafted by special order at the historic Mulliner Park Ward Coachworks in London. These were officially known as Drophead Coupes because the power folding top was fitted so well that was more like a fixed roof when in place. Under the hood sites a 6.75 Liter V8 that offers power plus the appearance of a finely built Swiss watch with its Twin SU Carbs and relay logic. Rolls Royce engineers went to great lengths see that the engine is refined and isolated from the passengers from sounds as well as vibrations and this includes a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and cruise control while you enjoy fully independent hydraulic suspension that glides over rough pavement like polished glass and it stops on a dime with four-wheel disc brakes. Looks are amazing but the drive is first class all the way!
Open the door of our Corniche and you're treated to sumptuous Connolly Ivory power leather seats piped in ivory white all set against Walnut trim. Luxury means plenty of features, including power windows, power seats, power locks, air conditioning and an upgraded AM/FM/ high class audio. As a high end convertible, in true Rolls-Royce fashion, you can have the top in place, and its level on insulation give you coupe-like quietness and elegance will surround you.
Beautifully coach-built, expertly maintained, and award-worthy excellence – this is desire on wheels. Complete with owner's manual, this is a timeless classic that proves distinction can be bought for less, but class has never been so affordable. We have all the manuals, build sheets, and even some spare components.
