With bodywork manufactured inLondonby Rolls Royce's coach building divisionMulliner Park Ward, he Camargue reached a production of 530 units over 11 model years.TheCamarguederives its name from thecoastal region in southern France, nd was also used on the 1972Citroën GS Camargue.At launch, he Camargue was the Rolls-Royce's flagship and the mostexpensive production car in the world, ventually selling in North America for approximatelyUS$147,000.At its official U.S. launch, he Camargue had already been on sale in the UK for over a year. The Camargue was fitted with the Silver Shadow II's power rack and pinion steering rack in February 1977.
