1991 Saab 900 SPG Monte Carlo Edition “California car! Enthusiast Owned! Sympathetically Refurbished!”

The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this rare 1991 Saab 900 SPG Monte Carlo Edition Convertible. Finished in Monte Carlo Yellow over Black leather and a black canvas top, his iconic car sets the bar for 90’s sports cars. Saab created the SPG (Sports PackaGe) as a high performance version of its 900 series making it an exclusive and sporty version of this popular car. 1991 marked the last year of the the SPG with a total of 7,625 produced, nd only 299 Monte Carlo edition cars. This SPG lived in California until 2013, nd retains all of the virtues that a California car entails. The car features the venerable turbocharged 2.0L inline four mated to a five speed manual transmission. The car pulls hard with good power and shifts through the gears with ease. This SPG has been extensively reconditioned and sympathetically refurbished. The current owner has spent thousands bringing it to its former glory and recently completed the following work:

3/4/16 - Steering column bearings and bushings ($364)

9/5/14 - Brake light switch ($344)

10/4/13 - New slave cylinder, rake fluid flush ($630)

9/14/13 - Full exterior respray in original Monte Carlo Yellow ($3093)

8/19/13 - Stereo system refresh including Clarion NZ-503 head unit, larion CC510, olk audio speakers all around. ($939 plus installation)

8/19/13 New bumper Cover ($341)

7/15/13 - Interior refresh including but not limited to new convertible top and rear window, nterior seats, eat backs, oor cloth etc. ($3194+$1021 for front seat kit)

6/28/13 - 74,945 miles. New upper ball joints, ater pump, park plugs, CV valve, acuum hoses, ap & rotor, gnition wires, alve cover gaskets, uel filter, ront brake rotors, oses and pads, rake fluid flush, oolant flush, /C service, il change ($2515)

6/30/13 - New E-Code headlights ($329)

As can be seen from the above documented work; an open checkbook was used in the refurbishment of this car. She runs and drives as well as she looks, nd all mechanical systems work as they should. Currently there are 75,000 California miles carfax certified miles, nd the car comes with all books and extensive documentation on all of the recently done work.
