Up for auction is our 1968 Shelby GT 350 Coupe. This is an original Hertz car with a long list of factory options plus the dealer-installed Paxton supercharger.

This car has been in our family for over 20 years. It is a lifetime Florida car that was originally purchased in Miami. It has 36,724 original miles on it, ts in excellent condition, nd it runs great. We have the Marti report for the car, s well as the original build sheet. (Both are pictured near the end of the photo gallery).

This car is believed to be all original with the following exceptions: The steering wheel has been changed; The A/C compressor has been changed; the black coating has been removed form the supercharger cover; the floor mats are Mustang mats, ot Shelby.

This Shelby is a fantastic example of an original car that you can take to any show or meet with pride - and you just might walk away with some trophies. It is not a Class1 show car, ut it is a superb candidate for a full restoration if that is your goal.

The exterior is in excellent shape, ith no dents or dings. It was repainted about 20 years ago in the original Lime Gold color. The car has been stored indoors since then, nd the paint looks great with one small exception:

There is a hairline crack in the paint just above the right headlight. This is not from being hit or damaged, ts a defect that appeared some time after the car was painted. See picture below.

The fog lamps are OEM parts, ut these are not hooked up.

The interior is all original, nd is in excellent condition. This car has just 36,724 actual miles on it, nd the condition of the interior reflects that. Please note that the steering wheel has been changed - it is not the original one that came on the car, ut it is a nice upgrade.

Even the headliner and door panels look excellent.

This Hertz Shelby came from the factory with an automatic transmission, ir conditioning, M radio, ilt steering wheel, tachometer / trip odometer, nd the "Interior Decor Group". See the Marti report at the end of the photo gallery for a complete list of factory options.

This Shelby has the dealer-installed Paxton Supercharger, hich includes 2 additional interior gauges for vacuum pressure and fuel pressure.

The 302 V8 runs fantastic. The Paxton supercharger was not available from the factory in 1968, t had to be dealer installed. As we noted earlier, he black coating has been removed form the box, ut this IS the original supercharger.

The tires are new.

This is a lifetime Florida car, o there's no rot underneath.

The miles are original, nd they are correct.

We have purchased the Marti report for the car, onfirming original colors and equipment, nd that this is a Hertz car - one of just 223 made in 1968.

The original build sheet is also with the car.

There is a manual with the car as well and we think this
set of keys may be original, ut we're not sure.
