As you can see...This is not a Normal Avanti.

This Avanti was used as "Promotional Vehicle" for the New Avanti......"See Documents"

Being a Promotional Vechile they Loaded this car with Options and "Special Paint" and a "High Output Motor"

It is also Rare to have Two Invoices......"See Documents"

The Rep turned it back in to Avanti and a New Invoice was made for the car again

"Special Paint"...Not on the Normal Paint Colors list...."See Paint List" and then"Special Paint Color" was Typed in

It was ordered with the "Special High Output Motor"

I thought it was “Odd” that when I did a Car Fax binging this is a 1987 Avanti and it was first time registered in 1989????

I contacted the “Avanti Research Services” to see if they could shed some light into this Mystery....

They had the Build Sheet and Two Invoices....All other Avantis only have One Invoice.

One of the Invoices shows this going to a Avanti Dealer in California and usedfor Promoting the NewAvanti

That is why this Avanti is Loaded with Options and also the “Extra Charge” for the Rare Leather Interior Option...Most Avanti's have Vinyl Seats

This makes this Avanti even more Rare...And the Paper Work to back it up...

The Average Price of a Car in 1987 was $10,000 Dollars...The Avanti's were selling for $39,000.00...That was a lot of Money back then...

This is a 1987 Avanti based off the Avanti Studebaker way back in 1963

This car has the Looks of the 1963 but Runs and Drives so much Smoother and More Reliable
