Description

This car is a classic. 1988 Subaru GL 4 door Wagon that has the real 4wd, not the new front wheel drive. Just push a button on automatic transmission column to put into or take out of 4WD. 4WD in good working condition. Some body issues as can be seen in pictures, but not bad for age. Needs work on motor, not sure if it just needs head fixed or what problem is. It will crank or turn over and run, but has no power and skips. Heat works, AC does not work. Selling this classic as is. 202,172 Actual miles on speedometer. Has the roll out cover for open area in back of wagon, not sure what it's called. If these are missing they are expensive and hard to find. Driven up until December, 2016. . Most of these old classics were scraped and are hard to find. Would have to be picked up and towed or shipped due to engine problem, buyer is responsible for this and all costs involved. Being sold as is, private seller with no warranty. If you have questions or need more pictures just message me before auction ends
Needs work on motor, not sure if it just needs head fixed or what problem is. It will crank or turn over and run, but has no power and skips. It does not have cruise control or height button. Have added another pic of instrument panel and some of minor upholster issues and cracked tail light lens that I think happened during one of these awful wind storms with a limb hitting it after it was parked.
This vehicle has NOT had a major oil leak or dump, has always used a little oil as all Subaru's we have had have done. There is no knocking noise in engine, it just skips or misses and has very little power. This is why we think the problem is in the heads. If not for back problems and bad experiences with letting others do the work, we would fix or have it fixed ourselves and keep. I hope this answers some of the questions we have gotten on the vehicle.
any questions don't hesitate to message me.
