Description

This is a 2 owner rust free Colorado Car. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in 2000. At that time it had slightly less than 100,000 miles. I have put the other 100,000 miles on the car over the last 16 years.
This car does not currently run, I believe it needs a fuel pump. It will start if it is primed but is not getting fuel flow. The other issue with the engine is that at about 190,000 the head gasket blew. At the time I was driving it to work daily so I put some blocksealant in and that fixed it. This vehicle has had synthetic lubricants in it since 2000. Any bolts I have removed from this vehicle over the last 16 years have been coated withantiseize beforereassembly. The engine does not burn oil that I am aware of. I have never had to add oil between oil changes which I have done at 5 to 6,000 mileintervals.
As far as I can tell there is no rust on this vehicle at all. I thought when I jacked the car up to take thechassis pictures that there was a spot but it was only a spot where the undercoating had separated slightly from a body seam. I took a closeup of that spot so you can see.Although the front unibody where the front suspension attaches is covered with dirt and oil from its 200,000 miles of travel but under that is paint no rust anywhere.
The brakes are fairly new. The rotors are in good condition, It also has almost new goodyear Eagle tires on it.
The interior is in pretty good shape. There are no rips in the seats that I am aware of.
A couple of months ago someone tried to steal this car. To get in they broke the passenger side rear window. I have not replaced the window but it has been covered since then and the interior has not gotten wet.
I know there is a lot wrong with this car but there is a lot right with it as well. I would have prefered to restore her myself or use her parts to make a GEOconvertibleinto a GT car, But I currently don't have a garage and it is unfair to her to let her languish in a storage yard. She has been a really fun reliable car for me and I would like to pass her along to someone who appreciates these cars as much as I do.
