Description

.

For Sale is my 1986 Toyota 4WD Pickup. It is an incredible truck that has been very well maintained throughout the years and has only had a total of 4 owners (including myself). My brother and I bought it from a classic Toyota Pickup enthusiast in California and drove it back to Texas without a single problem. It's a predominantly original, umbers matching, riginal paint, reat running and driving truck.

It has a newly rebuilt OEM carburetor that works great but its high idle does run a bit too high. I kept the original carburetor incase someone wanted to rebuild it at a later date. The exhaust has a leak in it and could use replacing. The rear driver side wheel well has some additional scratches on it that are barely visible and its mud flap has a slight tear in it.

Everything on this truck works and works well... even the windshield wiper squirters work. This truck is the base model so it does not have AC, ut it does have Vent and Heat. It has the 22R 4 Cylinder, speed manual, anual transfer case and manual locking front hubs. It shifts into 4WD very smoothly and is incredibly low geared in 4 LOW. The tires are great and the truck is inspected.

The bench seat is original but does have some tears in the fabric and the springs are worn. It has two chrome bumpers (came with black originally). The ONLY rust on the truck is: (a) on the rear fenders above the wheel wells and (b) in a couple of small places in the bed behind the rear fenders... bone dry everywhere else.

I recently installed a Class III hitch. It won't set any land speed records but it will get the job done when you need to tow a utility trailer.

I also have the bed topper / cap (pictured) that I believe the original owner purchased for the truck in 1986. I took it off because it gets better gas mileage without it. It is not included in the price but I am keeping it in enclosed storage in Navasota, exas. If you would like to purchase it as well, lease let me know and we’ll make arrangements for you to pick it up.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to see and test-drive it before purchase.

Bidders with less than 5 positive feedback or negative feedback must contact me prior to bidding or I will cancel your bid.
