Description

1989 Land Cruiser + 33x12.5 wheels / tires in REALLY nice condition! This truck spent the majority of its life stored in a garage. The ~207k miles are all original and accurate. I purchased the truck in november with the intent of building a restomod, ut have since added another vehicle to the fleet, o my plans have changed. Would love to keep it but dont have the room in my driveway for 4 trucks. About the rig - Very little rust of note. The worst of it is on the passenger rear rocker edge- rot through the cover only for the last 3 inches or so. The trailing lower edge of the passenger wheel well was also affected but not bad. The rest of the rust is surface and superficial. I treated all of the spots with rust inhibitor and sprayed a coat of black rust proofing primer to protect the areas for the winter. I do my own paint so had planned on shoring up the blemishes over the winter and completing body work and a respray in the Spring. Probably worth noting that the one area of rust on the rear rocker edge wasn't THAT bad. But when i do bodywork, like to do it right, o went at it with a screw driver to see the extent of what i'd want to cut out and replace when i got around to the repair. No mechanical issues really other than the fuel sender needing to be replaced and the auto door locks not functioning (they click, ut dont activate - just haven't had time to chase down the problem but in researching, t might be as simple as resetting a breaker...). Havent driven it much or done much to it since i've owned it. Did complete a full coolant flush and fill with genuine toyota antifreeze. Also replaced the rear bench and front drivers seat fabric (no tears anywhere!) as well as replacing one of the two cat converters. All driving lights are new as well. The truck drives well - was my daily driver for the last 2 months - and runs like a top. Minor issues to note - assuming tie rod ends will need replacing some time in the near future, C needs recharge, nd there's a minor exhaust leak from the rear of the muffler. Truck has a new battery and new brake master cylinder. The previous owner also replaced the rear hatch upper and lower doors with used refurbished units. He also replaced the front bumper with a refurbished unit. I do have the pre-purchase inspection that i had done prior to my purchase - would be happy to share with you. The stereo works (CD&radio), s does the rear heat and dome lights. As with most 60 series LC's, here is cracking in the dash - Nothing a dash cap cant fix. Again, his is a super SUPER nice FJ62. Not perfect, ut the patina shows well and doesnt detract from its appeal. This thing turns heads everywhere it goes. FYI - I'd planned on converting the front end to the FJ60 lights grill and lower valance. I sourced all of the parts ( lights, urn signals, ight surrounds, enter grill, ore support and lower valance) and will make them available to anyone purchasing at the 'buy-it-now' price. Will also include the original wheels and rubber as part of this deal. All together its probably about a $500 value. Happy to answer ANY questions and provide additional pictures. Please don't bid unless you are ready to buy and have asked whatever questions you need answered. Shipping and inspection is at buyer's cost. No warranties expressed or implied. Sold as is. The rims on the truck are Level 8s: http://www.ebay.com/itm/15x10-Black-Level-8-Tracker-Wheels-6x5-5-48-Lifted-HONDA-PASSPORT-/351615945619?hash=item51ddf18b93:g:EuMAAOSw5IJWgsP7&vxp=mtr
