It was produced for the Japanese Domestic Market and does not have a 17-digit VIN. The original VIN plate reading BJ700004000 is still fixed in the factory location on the engine firewall. Additionally. this factory VIN is stamped into the frame rail behind the drivers side front tire. The Missouri title and customs documentation all match this VIN. 100% Legal. Fully Documented. The sides of the top can be rolled up. or the entire top can be removed. The side doors and rear doors have removable frames for use without the soft-top installed. The interior is in very good condition. It is the base model grade interior without many options. Note. there is no factory clock. but rather a block-off plate in its place. an interesting feature on this BJ70. The seat vinyl is in excellent condition both in the front and in the back. The rubber mat flooring is also excellent. The dash. steering wheel and center console are also in excellent condition. The rear cargo area is in good condition. but some signs of use are visible such as minor tears in the rubber mat and some scratches on the metal surfaces.
