Description

Up for auction is my 1st generation Toyota Celica GT. I've had this car for over fifteen years. The previous owner had installed a high strung glorified racing engine in it. The engine was getting tired, nd last year finally spun a bearing. After sitting in the garage for six months, n December I ordered a professionally rebuilt engine from a supplier that specializes in high performance 22R's, nd I spent the last few months getting it installed and ready to go. The engine even has a warranty until the end of this year. While the car has been a lot of fun over the years, t also tended to draw a lot of unwanted attention. I'm getting too old to get in trouble driving a hotrod around the neighborhood, o it's time for me to sell it.

The Celica does have it's flaws. The paint is faded, laked, cratched and chipped. The seats and steering wheel both came out of an old Supra and are very crusty, ut the rest of the interior is in good shape. The sheet metal below the front bumper was bent pretty badly, o I replaced it, s noted in the pics it's currently painted black. There's a crack on the passenger side of the windshield that for the life of me I can't get to show up in pictures. There's a small bubble of rust on the driver's side door (see pic) that has been there the entire time I've owned the car. The front passenger fender is a little wrinkled (see pic), hich also has always been that way the entire time I've owned the car. I am giving you replacement fenders, hould you wish to replace it. Someone also tried to unsuccessfully break into the car a few years back by knocking out the door lock and I never got around to replacing it. The tires are in decent shape, ut are getting pretty old.

A partial list of the upgrades:

Four wheel disc brakes (stock had drums in the rear)

W58 Transmission

AE86 LSD rear end with sway bar

Single piece driveshaft (stock was a complicated two piece design)

Professionally rebuilt high performance 22R engine

Canon intake

Dual Weber DCOE side draft carbs

Ramair air filters

Boyd wheels

Autometer gauges throughout

Electric fan assembly on the radiator (replaces the stock clutched fan)

JDM spec bumpers front and rear

ST Grill (Didn't like the GT grill)

Header and new exhaust

Crane Pro Ignition system, ncluding a Crane Coil, nd performance distributor, ires, nd plugs

Redline electric fuel pump, ressure regulator, nd a 20 gal aluminum fuel cell replacing the original fuel tank

Alarm system and keyless entry

On top of that, have an assortment of rare to impossible to find parts that go along with the Celica worth a decent amount of money by themselves. There are two GT grills and an LT grill (which I picked up in Australia), right metal front fender, set of NOS fiberglass front fenders (from a guy in Canada who used to race Celicas back in the day), spoiler and airdam (if that's your thing), eadlamp bezels, arious spare side lamp covers, xtra door handles, clutch, he original fuel tank, nd anything else I came across during the years I've owned it. There's also a number of manuals and all the documentation for everything that's been installed on the above list.

Feel free to ask questions or request pictures. If there's something specific you want to see let me know. Just don't ask how much I've spent on it over the years, try not to think about it.
