I've decided to sale my 1979 Toyota Corolla 4-door Deluxe. It has the long-lasting and dependable 2T-C engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It gets 22/23 mpg city and 27/28 highway. I have ice chains, 2 quarts of oil, 3 oil filters and the original manuals to go with it. This car was originally owned by my Grandfather. I bought it after he passed away in 2011 with 133,xxx miles on it. It has 164881.3 original miles on it now. I can't guarantee that this car will reach 300,000 miles, but history has proven that they are long-lasting and dependable.
What needs to be fixed:
The driver seat is pretty much wore out.
Passenger seat has a small tear.
The defrost switch
Horn (possibly a fuse)
Other Issues:
Both front fenders are starting to rust through (common issue for this model year).
There are several dents and chipped paint on the trunk.
There is a dent on the rear of the roof.
The passenger side skirt is dented from catching a rock when I slid into a ditch.
There are several small paint repairs that my grandfather did over the years to cover up scratches and chips.
Maintenance History
The only thing I had to fix on the car aside from the basic maintenance (spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil and oil filter) is the master and slave clutch cylinders and the valve cover gasket.
