Description

Selling my beloved BJ40 Land Cruiser 4 cylinder Diesel. It is imported from the Netherlands and is in excellent condition. Does not smoke, does not leak fluids, engine strong, 4 wheel drive transfer case works perfect. Cruiser is absolutely beautiful and runs perfect and all gauges work. It has power brakes and a brand new clutch. The kick vents provide you with "natures" air conditioning. :) Clean Arizona title in my name. Well maintained BJ40 with 59k original Kilometers (about 37k miles) on the clock. It drives tight and has been mostly garaged since I bought it.
I have driven it all over and have been off-roading in it. It cruises fine at speeds up to 75 MPH (with installed BF Goodrich tires) and also comes with original terrain tires (shown installed on last picture). The wheels on it are the original wheels that can be taken apart to change the inner tube. (in case you're stuck in the Sahara with a flat tire by yourself) You get both sets of tires!
The top comes off, I never did that though. The engine runs very well and has plenty of power. Very torqy famous 4-cylinder Toyota diesel that gets around 30MpG all around. The Low 4 is like a tractor.
4 wheel drive works flawless, and so does the immensely powerful winch that is driven by the engine. (on the transfer case). There are a few nickel-sized dents in the hood. This is an older restoration so expect imperfections in the paint. There are minor rust spots on the rear cargo doors, but nothing major. All in all, for a 39 year old Land Cruiser the body is in great shape, and so is the undercarriage.
Seats are not original but they are very comfortable Recaro seats. The radio is not hooked up as it's a 24 volts system and I'm not sure how that works.
Bid with confidence on this great fun cruiser. Ready for work or play or just to drive it for fun like I did. Be sure you can afford it prior to bidding! This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Non refundable deposit of $650. Zero or low feedback bidders please contact me prior to bidding. More photo's available upon request.
