Description

For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is a 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Rough and tough, but still cool and classic, the Toyota land Cruiser holds a special place in the hearts of auto enthusiasts all over the world. Toyota sits in the off road enthusiasts hall of fame thanks to this vehicle. Toyota rolled out the FJ40 series in 1960 and competed with the likes of Land Rovers, Jeeps, and later the Ford Bronco and Chevrolet K10. The FJ40 was a rugged, two door, 4x4 vehicle with amazing off road capabilities, and rather primitive interior treatments. The hard top is removable so open air cruising is a possibility. FJs came without carpet, and with vinyl upholstery so even if you're out in the mud and in the elements, they're easy to keep clean. The front sports a separated bench style seat, and the rear has "jump seats" which can be folded aside for more cargo space. Under the hood of this particular Land Cruiser you'll find an Inline 3.9L 6 cylinder engine which is backed by an upgraded 4 speed manual transmission and a 2WD 4x4 transfer case. Stout axle’s front and rear and original off road tires will take this thing just about anywhere you want to go. This FJ is clean inside and out. All the underside and frame was rust free and the body panels painted in a sea foam green color. With options including seat belts, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, and an Anti-Theft System, the Land Cruiser is pure excitement. This FJ runs and drives great and is just begging for mud, rocks, and trails! This FJ would make a great weekend runabout or a daily driver, and will put most new 4x4s to shame off pavement. Vintage 4x4s are in high demand, and most have rusted away to nothing. Luckily this Toyota has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of duty. You can see this 1968 Toyota Land Cruise @
