It is freshly painted cream/orange with a black vinyl interior and this FJ55 underwent a full restoration about five years ago. It is believed to have a mere 81. 00 original miles on it as well. although we cannot prove it either way. This rare 1970 Land Cruiser also has a very clean engine bay. genuine factory A/C (not working). a Weber carburetor. nice power steering. a smooth gearbox. like-new tires and excellent glass all the way around. The new paint shows no blemishes and this one starts. idles. and runs beautifully with a comfortable cruising speed right around 70 mph. Fully Restored in 2010 w/ Factory Original DrivetrainCoveted by the FJ cognoscenti. this FJ55 is fitted with a rare Toyota Factory winch - the same as the ones used on Japanese military vehicles. It also has a tow hitch and and period correct roof rack installed by the previous owner. The Land Cruiser 55 was produced from 1967 to 1980. Toyota refers to the FJ55G and FJ55V as the first "real" station wagon in the Land Cruiser series. which is why collectors are naturally drawn to this hard to find model. In terms of actual condition. the black vinyl interior on this 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 shows very little wear and the headliner is near perfect. In 2013. the door panels were also reupholstered. as well as two of the seats. The only notable blemish anywhere on this vehicle is a small 3" crack on the top of the dash. Additionally. the original air box has been removed and a nice 38mm Webber Carburetor was installed to help the engine breathe.
