I always like the unusual or hard to find vehicles. so I couldn't pass up on this 81 Toyota Starlet. I recently purchased the car as is. so I don't know any history or build details. If you know this vehicle or can add to the details. I would love to know more about it. It comes with only a bill of sale. No Title. That's the way it was sold to me. It is a solid body 1981 Toyota Starlet with a 12A Mazda RX7 Rotary engine. 5spd trans. Engine sits very low to keep the center of gravity close to the ground. Fires right up and has a great Rotary sound. Dual coil set up. Holley 4 barrel carb. Racing Beat intake. Fuel Cell with Fuel Injection. Full Roll Cage. Battery relocated to trunk. Emergency cut off switch. even has Line Lock!! 4 wheel disc brakes. Monster tach with shift light. Nice drag tires and wheels. skinnies up front. wide in the rear. Interior is pretty much stripped of any extra weight. Has nice front and rear seats. no rips or tears. Paint shines great. I can't find any rust to speak of (see pics). some nicks. dings. scrapes. and scratches. but it still looks great. I don't know what the rear end set up is. but it has a tall gear. shifts quick and moves. Clutch is solid. no slipping. Very nice car overall.
