For your consideration . 1972 Toyota Celica . / 135k orig miles . nd owner car. araged most of it's life . nd an astounding collection of spares . Starting with the car . found this in 2002 after searching 6 years. bought it from the original owner. He had bought two in '72 . ne for the wife and one for himself. In the middle seventies he took the car to BRE motorsports (Brock Racing Enterprises) for some upgrades . headers. inch exhaust . t was lowered w/Koni's. am reground. tc. when I bought the car the old Koni's were worn out. nd the car was so low you couldn't roll a tennis ball under it. nbsp; In the last couple years I swapped out the Koni's for some tokiko HP Blue's. he front end is all '87 Corrolla. ith 1-3/4 drop springs. he 15X6 inch Konig rewinds . ook and work great . ith the Hankook 205-50-15's fill the wheelwells nicely having the same rotational diameter as the stock tires . he gearing of the old school factory 4spd is perfect. The 18r runs great. ike a little tractor motor should. ruly old school. he cam was reground at some point so the motor's a little sleepy til around 3500 rpm. hen it wakes up and wants to play The front end is all new. new bushings. ie rods and such . ll the steering parts . The rear end could use all new bushings in the 4 link as well as new axle bearings . ut not critical . nbsp; The carpet on the drivers side was removed because of both coolant leaks at the heater core . nd signs of the brake master leaking at some point . t was nasty . o I pulled it out. he rest of the interior is amazing. hat is not a Dash cover . hat is the orig dash in perfect condition. have never seen that. before or since. il pres gauge needle is broken . emote gauge was installed by orig owner . ven the clock works!. ast by about 1 minute per day. the pictures speak for themselves. ook at the headliner and visors. headliner does have one small hole near center light) look at the doors. ear perfect . xcept for a little plastic chrome peel. nd broken window crank/drivers side--(have orig correct pair of crank handles in spares/extremely rare part only two years manufacture) looking at the seats and stuff . hey are just dirty. he drivers side front is seam separated at the seat . assenger side is excellent. ear has tear near center . ictured. arpet is tired. n the trunk we have the orig jack. 43 year old factory spare and cover along with the orig tool caddy/roll. otice the ZERO rust!!. o cancer anywhere. nbsp; The body overall is pretty good . As pictured there is bondo at both front corners . here is bondo on the passenger side door. note the broken corner light at drivers front/have set of spares /with N. O. S. clear lenses) It appears that the hood was possibly replaced early in the cars life. he paint quality is different. nd shows some odd paint pitting. ut it is all there . ncluding the impossible to find stainless on the leading edge. he left rear quarter looks good but there is a slight compression dimple at the top of the wheel well/indicating that the car took a moderate blow in the the booty sometime. hile the rear bumper looks salvageable. he rear valance is probably the ugliest part of the car. The right rear quarter has an obvious dent. ong story. appened on my watch. on't want to talk about it. The front bumper is repairable. o get it to fit as well as it does (not saying its good enough) I had to cut it and weld it to a sharper sweep. A good bumper shop will be able to make this one nice. There are also two very good bumper skins from a 73. hat could be used if you have some basic fabrication skills. The front valance is near perfect just showing some light rust through the paint. nder the hood. hotos tell it all. lean . ot chopped up . ll stock. riginal . xcept for the Headers. I do have the air cleaner) As for the spares; I have the original showroom window sticker. riginal manual. ight and left fenders . xcellent cond---both doors w/glass. xcellent condition. 3 hood. ery good condition /light cancer at leading edge----windshield--complete set of locks and keys----73 rear seat bottom good cond----NOS parts. indshield washer bottle. rand new 43 years old----all kinds of weather strip 2-3 sets. ood. t least two sets of stainless. rim including super rare toneau cover trim. pare set rocker stainless. rig 70's chin spoiler/not repro. et extra side corner lights w/NOS lenses. isc interior parts. hen boxes of stuff I cannot remember. he super low coil springs for the 71/72. ust so much stuff. 2 years of collecting . estimate the spares at around 3000. 00 retail. This is an opportunity. verything you need to create a "one of a kind". r restore . r resto-mod. r whatever. no rust to repair. o surprises. magine how difficult . costly. nd labor intensive it would be to build a car like this . The last couple of 1st Gen Celica's I have seen for sale were just rusty hulls at around 1. 00. 00 (no interior. o motor. tc) and the truth is they are now extremely rare!. t this time I am offering this as a complete package only. am asking 8k for the car and all the spares. lthough I would be receptive to reasonable and realistic offers. f a rusted out Camaro with no floor and no drive train is worth 5k. his clean driver is worth at least that!!( 8. 00. 00 reserve). do have the headlight bezels . n fact I believe I have a spare set. removed them to change headlights and adjust . ut did not have time to replace for pictures I have run out of time this weekend . o pull the countless smalls of parts out to catalog.
