Up for auction is my low mileage completely stock all original unmolested used but great condition 1986 Toyota Corolla GT-S Hatchback aka Hachi Roku (86). This car is considered by many enthusiasts/purists as an iconic classic Japanese drift machine sought after by many due to its light chassis (approx. 2300 lbs.) front engine reliable 4AGE 16 valve DOHC 1.6 liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated equipped with front and rear wheel disc brakes and rear wheel drive. These cars are getting harder to come by in stock OEM form these days considering most have either been totaled or abused. I would like to believe if its not already these cars are becoming Collector’s car due to the over engineering from Toyota during that time. 1986 was the last year the Toyota Corolla GT-S Hatchback chassis was available in the U.S.

I’m the 3rd owner and have owned the car for a little over 5 years and it’s my leisure car and when not driven its always parked in a garage. Since ownership I’ve only put a little over 26K miles on the car. This car is adult driven well maintained and has never been modified raced drifted and or abused. The car has a Clean Title Clean Car Fax No Accidents and been in California its whole life with its original front and rear 1986 California Sunrise Plates. These cars in the past with age are known to get rust around the outside and underneath the rear fender wells along the inside of the rear hatch and also inside the spare wheel well. Being that it’s a California car and being well taken care of from what I can see there are no major rusts. I’m not a certified mechanic but based on my overall observation of the car it does not have any major mechanical issues and drives great with no major oil leaks that I can see. Having that said there may be other problems/issues that I have not detected. The car is sold “as is” with no warranty.

The car’s features equipment minor issues and repairs are as follows:

-Original 4AGE Fuel Injected DOHC 1.6L 4-cylinder Engine with only 89910 miles but may go up slightly for any serious potential local buyers (recently changed motor oil and filter) Please no tire kickers or joy rides

-Front and Rear wheel disc brakes

-Rear Wheel Drive 5-Speed Manual Transmission with factory Limited Slip Differential (No grinds no rear differential noise)

-Original OEM factory Toyota keys and owner’s manual

-All Original Factory Paint and Body – Recently washed and detailed due to its age there are some scratches paint chips and dings throughout the car such as: rock chips on front bumper scratches and rock chips on hood a ding on the corner of the front driver’s side fender small ding on front and rear of rooftop scratches on driver’s side door and door molding previous owner touched up with paint driver’s side rear quarter panel has about 5 small dings small ding on rear hatch small ding on passenger side door.

-All Original Factory Toyota Glass complete all around front windshield has some small pebble rock chips/nicks

-Rare NO Sunroof – Lots of GT-S trims came with sunroof because it was the top of the line (luxury) trim for the Corolla No sunroof gives more headroom less weight and one less mechanical thing to break down

-Original factory R12 A/C –Blows cold recharge R12 Freon (April 2015) A/C when on will stop blowing cold if engine RPM’s drop under 1K RPM which would require to restart the car to reactivate A/C back to normal never was an issue for me

-Heater works wells along with the front and rear defrost

-Clean Factory Original Interior non-smoking car OEM Toyota floor mats driver’s side OEM floor mat is worn driver’s side seat has small tear near upper left shoulder passenger and rear seats have no rips or tears clean dashboard with small crack on passenger side air vent driver’s side window visor has a small tear on corner seam wear and tear on steering wheel center/shifter console has some scratches on the sides rear hatch inside liner has some scuffs rear quarter panel side linings in trunk have scratches and scuffs clean headliner no sag rips or tears both door panels are in good condition with no rips or tears

-Manual door windows and door locks

-Power steering

-Power side mirrors

-Factory OEM AM/FM Radio Cassette player (does not play cassettes)

-Dealer installed Cruise Control (I don't ever use this feature however I attempted to try it once and it worked however I tried a 2nd time at a later date and it no longer engaged set speed)

-Audiovox Pursuit after-market Car Alarm (2-transmitter remote controls 1 remote control key attachment clip is broken but still works)

-New Koyo after-market OEM replacement radiator replaced new genuine Toyota thermostat and flushed out with genuine Toyota coolant (August 2011)

-New OEM Genuine Toyota GTS rear muffler/Exhaust I was told by the dealer there is only one left in all of North America after my purchase (April 2015)

-Replaced new OEM Genuine Toyota steering rack boots (March 2015)

-Front wheel alignment (March 2015)

-Replaced new OEM factory Toyota clutch and brake rubber pedal pad

-Replaced all new cold start injector OEM thermo-time switch coolant sensor (No Cold Start Issues)

-Rear hatch window metal louvers made by Shadow (2 broken rails on louvers)

-Rear hatch windshield wiper does not work (might be a fuse switch or the wiper motor)

-Original factory 14x5½ inch Toyota wheels (paint peeling on all 4 rims) with Kumho 195/60/14 tires (approx. 20%-30% tread) sidewalls of tires showing small little cracks and 1 original Toyota full size spare wheel with Bridgestone tire made in Japan jack Toyota tool kit

-Will come with an extra set of brand new OEM genuine new Toyota door decals

Buyer will be responsible for all transportation and shipping cost. $500 non-refundable deposit (I will accept cash cashier’s check bank wire transfer; no personal checks no PayPal unless funds are transferred from your bank account) must be received within 24hrs after auction ends successfully. All remaining balance must be paid in full within 7 days of auction close. Payment in full must be bank wire transferred and cleared in my bank account or paid in full in cash before signing over title and release of vehicle. I do not accept payment plans.

My auction is setup with a “Reserve Price”; please do not ask what my reserve price is. Please place your bid accordingly as to what you feel my car is worth to you. An opportunity to own a Corolla GT-S in this condition does not come up often I know this first hand because when I was in search for this particular car I had passed up many others due to the condition they were in and finally found this one and it took me 3+ years.

I reserve the right to end the auction early at any time for any reason. I’m not looking for any trades nor will I part out my car for spare parts.
