Description

1987 Toyota pickup, 06,xxx original miles, uns great. Very clean interior.Smoke free. I can only find one small crack in dash (pictured). Seats are in great shape, ave been covered and it shows. Carpet is all good with no major stains, lass is all good. Body is in great shape for a vehicle of its age. Frame is solid with nothing more that surface rust in some spots. Body has minor damage/crumple of front passenger fender (pictured), he paint has a couple of chips in this spot that once again can be seen from the picture. On the driver side there is about a 12” strip where the paint is bubbled from rust. It is not bad and also can be seen in picture. New battery. The timing belt was replaced within the past 10k miles. New muffler about 12 months old. Toyota factory tie rods replaced within the past 5k miles, nd installed a Caddy idler arm from Total Chaos (priced at $389.17 here http://www.chaosfab.com/86-95-4WD-Pickup-Off-Road-Suspension-Accessories.html ) The idler arm is pretty much the only chink in the armor of these bullet proof Toyotas. With this idler arm they are built plenty strong to handle much larger tires, r just be extremely strong and have tight steering with the 31” tires that are on there. I bought with plans of building for a street-able trail truck that would look good and clean but go anywhere, hich is why I replaced the front suspension with high quality components. My daily driver was totaled in an accident; I had to buy another one and went a different direction so have to forget about my plans for this one. The clear coat is peeling off, keep a coat of wax on it to protect the paint and it keeps a pretty good shine. This is extremely reliable, urns over strong, tarts right up, ulls strong through all gears, nd gets good gas milage. I am happy answer any questions by email, hone, r text. 314-255-8917 Dave.
