Description

This is a 1973 Triumph Stag. Before I part it out into a million pieces. I thought I would see if anyone can use it the way it is . I really have no history on it. It is an unfinished project that has sat indoor stored for decades. There is no engine or transmission included. As is fairly typical of Stags. he original engine went bad. The owner bought and had shipped to him another "good" drivetrain . But never installed it. There is grey primer in the engine bay on the inner wheel wells. There is some welding work done up high behind the driver side shock tower near the master cylinders. Not sure why. There is nothing below that to show major work. The shock towers are fine . he lower frame is straight and nice. The radiator core support is straight. original and nice. Nothing shows from in side the wheelwells. Original factory undercoating is undisturbed on both sides. Don't think this is much to worry about. but wanted to point it out. . I have 2 Stag engines and 2 manual trannys. one with OD. that I can work with you on if you need drivetrain. This car has a beautiful body and a very nice interior. Really see no signs of rust anywhere. Think it was resprayed the original factory red decades ago. Then left in storage. It now has some small door dings. uite a few in the rear drivers side quarter. chips and other wear and tear from years in storage. The radiator. grille. headlights. ail lights and some other parts taken off for the paint are in the trunk. The car is a rolling. steering. topping project with fairly new tires that hold air. . The wood dash is very nice. as is the rest of the interior. The dash top has splits. The chrome bumpers are beauties. The convertible top raises and lowers nicely. The back plastic window is a bit yellowed and the zipper is broken. There is a small split in one area. The right side outside door handle is broken. All around a fantastic car to work with. Doubt there are many out there as nice for the money. Great for V8 transplant. Or drop your good drivetrain from your rusty beat body and be good to go. Or I can work with you on the Stag drivetrains I have. Straight clean California pink slip title ready to go. Local inspection is highly recommended. Either by you orr a friend. Local pickup encouraged. I travel around the country with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it close to you for reasonable money.
