Description

Previously listed but high bidder backed out after winning the auction. Once again selling my 1975 TR6. Odometer is not functioning and is stuck at 18364. but the speedo works. I purchased it in 2012 in good. drivable condition but have had a lot of work done to make it a sound and reliable driving car. Repairs done by the previous owner and me since 2009 include an engine rebuild with a . 030 bore and new piston set. It had a valve job. resurfaced head. flywheel resurface. transmission overhaul. resurfaced brake drums and rotors. new racing cam. u-joint / drive shaft replaced. carb rebuild. oil pump. lots of hoses. belts. gaskets and seals at a combined cost of more than $8. 00. I have the itemized receipts to confirm all of this. I can provide the name of the shop that has done all of the repairs since I have owned it as well as the previous owner. I have many items that are included in the sale. Original 1975 owners manual. Current driver side door has bondo repair and paint blemishes. Solid for driving but door should be repaired or replaced and repainted. A brand new set of retracting seat belts purchased from the Roadster Factory but not installed. The car currently has a standard non-retractible lap/shoulder belt combination. I have a second used interior that I had planned to replace the current one with. Both are black but the extra set has red piping that will look great with the Java Green. The extra interior set includes seat covers. door panels. interior vinyl panels and black carpet. The interior came out of a car that was changed to tan and not because it had damage. There is an extra. used. soft top with rear zipper window. Also a tonneau cover for the interior that snaps in place. I have a box of parts including the original air cleaner. belts. passenger side mirror to match the drivers side. extra filters. a set of used gray wheel centers. misc. weatherstrip/seals and assorted small parts. The spare tire is the original Michelin redline. Bottom line is that this is a great driving car. Mechanically and structurally it is great. The future holds a paint job to make it really sweet. It looks nice as is but i want to be as honest as possible. If you have any questions or want to schedule a time to see/drive the car please send me an email. Good luck bidding and thank you for looking. I have the car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction if the car sells locally prior to the end of the auction regardless of any bids. The auction will have a buy it now option this time. If you have any concerns with this option please contact me prior to bidding.
