1971 Triumph GT6 MK3: I rescued this from a field. Replaced clutch, pressure plate, bearing, clutch main and slave cylinders, and poly transmission tunnel. Runs and drives. Shifts well. Lights work, turn signals do not; although Hazards work. I have a used replacement dash pad in excellent shape that I will includewith the sale. Paint is okay from a distance, really rough looking up close. Has front and rear antiroll bars. Hood has homemade cutout for installation of triple Webers already. Badge bar in front. New tires 185/65/13 and aluminum Shelby Cobra mags (some road rash). Door panels and seats in good shape. Headliner also in good shape. Old fuel tank was toast, so have substituted a 15 gallon RCI 2162A aluminum fuel tank. New starter motor, starter relay and fuel pump. Has engine header. Clear SD title.
Still needing attention: New Brake Master Cylinder and brake service, New Tube Shocks (has tube shocks back and front), Holes in floor and passenger rocker, Has dual SU carbs and I have been unable to find the intake leak which makes it hunt for idle. Rear bumper has a dent. Hole in exhaust near end of down pipe. Seat belts and radio console with other various parts in boxes still.
Sold as is: This is a project that someone else started and abandoned. I have too many other projects and don’t want to store this winter. No reserve sale. Thanks for looking. Happy to answer questions. Located in SE South Dakota. Pickup only.
