It's owner spent a great deal of time and money restoring the car. The car had always been rust free and very solid. Not typical of the average TR6 that has a reputation of rusting in certain areas. The odometer reads 72. 00 miles. I have no reason to disbelieve the mileage. Here is only some of the new items the car now features:The Transmission. exhaust from the manifold back. brand new soft top. brand new interior. carpeting and trunk. new front shocks and coils. heater core. removed and machined cylinder head. new rod bearings. guide seats. rings. rebuilt carbs. new lock cylinders. rebuilt rear differential. new timing chain. new tires. rotors. brakes. new starter. ignition switch and ignition assembly and so much more! All the receipts go with the car. The factory hardtop was re-painted to match the car and the glass was also replaced. (headliner was not installed on the hardtop)With the exception of a few very minor chips. the body is excellent. The paint shine like new. The tires are brand new. The chrome and glass are excellent. The walnut dash does show some cracks and ageing. The matching boot is in great condition. The car comes with a spare and the tools. The original numbers matching motor runs quiet. strong and smoke free. Same could be said about the new transmission. She shifts smoothly through all the gears. The very best part of the car is of course driving her. This classic roadster drives straight. quick and stops on a dime. The TR6 is one of the last of the classic tight fitting roadsters.
