Certain to draw much attention whether on the road or at a car show, his 1972 TR6 has been steadily improved over my eight years of ownership. It is the one to own before the US emissions standards killed the true gutsy performance, hen in 1973 the engine design was changes with compression lowered, hich stifled performance. It is also lighter and more true to the original design prior to the big rubber bumper cones that were added from 1974 to 76. Included in my refurbishing were paint & interior, ustom glove leather seats with cloth center, ew carpeting, eautiful solid wood dash and reconditioned gauges, lus new dash pads, ll completed over the last few years, n addition to much mechanical refurbishing to make ita reliable driver for weekend or daily enjoyment. The unique hood with louvers was added (metal) to give it that 60's sports car look.Very nice paint with only very minorimperfections such as aquarter size spot in the groove on side of hood that does not show in picture, ut some imperfection isto be expected of any older sports car. Solid no rust original floors (see pictures posted with carpets removed), nd no rust evident in any of the panels, oa very solid example of the marque! Drives wonderfully, hifts perfectly and shows it's low mileage with everything feeling very tight and solid. Runs perfectly with recent freshened carbs. Brakes and clutch hydraulics were replaced.
It is being conveyed with theclear open title received from the former owner along with a bill of sale from me.The car was mostly kept in the garage unused and now that it is complete, haveother interests such as the 1966 Austin Healey that I have just boughtback from a friend who I sold it to many years ago, o this one needs to have a new loving owner to make room in my garage! It is being sold in its as is condition with no warranties offered. I will assist in shipping if needed. Please come drive the car and look it over, n order to satisfy yourself it is in the condition you expect, s it is hard to describesomething as complex as a vehicle in an eBay write-up, lthough I am open to all questions!
