A very solid 1973 VW Bug with many new and rebuilt parts, t appears to be a ground up build and nearly all mechanical components have been replaced or rebuilt. I'm not sure what is not new under the car, verything that I have touched or seen underneath the car is new including the complete floor pan, rake system, teering, uspension andaxles etc (see pics). The engine is a rebuilt 1970 1600ccI don't know exactly howmany miles it starts quickly and runs great with a rebuilt alternator and carb. All lights work with the exception of the brakes lights being stuck on when the car is running the car isn't insured and I don't drive it (it is registered in AL). It will need minor body work and paint it has white primer on it, bought it with unsealed paint and it turned real ugly real fast so I had no choice but to clean, and and primer it I covered any bare metal and most of the original paint where it was sanded downsmall spots can be seen in the pictures it is the red paint and isn't rust. The rear end of the car I haven't really touched it needs to have the hood (engine cover)removed and sanded/primed. Other than 2 small spots of rippling one in the front trunk and one in the back hood everything else is straight and solid with the exception of the running boards are a bit rough, he right rear fender has evidence of some previous repairs. Basically a little sanding, utty and primer and it is ready to paint. Most of the window seals are new and some glass was replaced when they were replaced all of the glass is good. The interior needs a little work the drivers seat needs a bottom coverand the carpet is missing, t has the good foam under lay with floor mats. The headliner and visors are new and the door panels are good the rear seat was deleted with a storage box in it's place. The car was being built as a Herbie clone (the racing wheels, eat delete and paint) but the paint was unsealed and got dirty quicly I had no choice but to remove the stickers and paint etc, t was a real head turner. The only problems are the running boards are a little rough and the front strip of molding is missing so is the glove box release and the radio hole is enlarged to fit a detachable face type (has a working JVC that is not hooked up).
My wife loves to drive this but wants to keep her other car and my kids aren't crazy about it. With all of the new parts and being so solid it's a really good deal and a great candidate to drive daily, estore or flip, e don't have titles for cars this age in AL so all I have is a notarized bill of sale it is currently registered in my wife's name. Please ask any questions if you have any and thanks for looking. I will drive the car to the trailer/truck that you supply and hand them the key the shipping/transfer/pickup/delivery is the buyers responsibility. I'm a fair and honest guy the starting price is much lower than the money invested and there no guarantees I've had the car for 9 months drove it for 5 or 6 months and it's been sitting in my shop.
