Description

Here is a 1978 Vw convertible. It has 110000 miles. It starts and runs but needs restoration.
THE GOOD:

Starts
Runs
Drives
Top doesnt leak
Classic beetle

THE BAD:

Needs subframe reinforcemets
Needs brakeline
Either needs carb or adjustment

It has subframe reinforcement rot. I found the replacement parts on line for about $125 apiece. They dont look very hard to put in.
With some minor welding you should be off to the car shows by late spring.
