frame stretched and body chopped
every single mod made by welding in fresh German metal from donor cars
absolutely no body filler used for repairs
forward tunnel extended by 6.5" inches and raised 2.5"
(NO simple bolt-on torsion beam extenders)
front torsion beam adjusters used to lower ride an additional 2"
rear torsion bars set for a 2" drop in back
new flex brake hoses and oversized slave cylinders
new front tires, versized back tires with many miles left
top chop done on a taper: A-pillars cut 4" / B-pillars 2" & back 0"
window frames include original vent wings -- all modified to match
custom metal channeling surrounds the hood and deck lid perimeter
interior hood space closed up tight -- no open holes to the road
fuel tank raised 3" to accommodate front drop and completely framed in
lower interior completely radiant/sound barrier insulated
all new nylon loop carpet on floor / inset head liner in roof
back seat replaced with hinged oak ply lids over battery & tool compartment
stock heater system deleted and plate welded off at every opening (who needs it in AZ?)
dash is mostly stock with modern Bluetooth radio
forward slant kick panels hold new 6" speakers
wired for sub-woofer speaker box on package tray
cavernous storage in back - lots of luggage space
new TMI door panels in saddle tan with new brown seat covers
beauty rings, eadlights and taillights all polished stainless
paint is 1975 VW Ceylon Beige and black wheel wells and rockers
I call her "Black and Tan."

Performance: this rod really scoots & stops excellent on stock drums
alignment set right & handling is balanced and friendlycenter mount 44 IDF yields about 100HP from 2110cc
there's torque to walk up a hill at 35mph in 4th gear or
let the big engine push her easily to 85mph with more in reserve
